Reptile And Amphibiams
Reptiles inspire both terror and attraction. They remind us past and primitive eras. Contrary to what many people believe, reptiles of today are not an evolution of the ancient dinosaurs, having become "smaller". Reptiles living with us today are the result of 300 million years of evolution.
Reptiles evolved from amphibians, and these, from primitive lobe-finned fishes, being the first vertebrates of terrestrial life.
And now, after so long, both reptiles and amphibians are very threatened at planetary level, especially amphibians, whose permeable skin makes them highly sensitive to environmental fluctuations (pollution, changes in temperature, etc.).. The significant decline of species and populations, apart from being of concern to the group itself, has triggered a global alarm because of what amphibians mean for the rest of life on Earth.
